Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Design Glance website (designglance.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Design Glance, Inc. ("Design Glance," "we," "our," or "us"), a corporation registered in the State of Delaware.

Design Glance provides professional plan review services for residential kitchen designs. Our services include: • Redline markup review of uploaded kitchen design plans • Written findings and recommendations delivered as a PDF • Optional add-on services: the Storage Optimizer and the Final Plan Check Complete Glance includes a 30-minute discovery call with your designer before your review begins. It is part of the tier, not an add-on, and it happens before the review rather than after delivery. When your designer is assigned we email you a booking link. Your review begins once the call has taken place, or once you tell us you would rather skip it; we do not start it without one or the other. If the call has not been booked we will remind you, and if it is still outstanding after ten days a member of our team will contact you directly to help. Our reviews are performed by experienced kitchen designers. Reviews are advisory in nature and constitute design recommendations only; they do not replace licensed contractor assessments, structural engineering evaluations, or building code certifications.

When you place an order, you agree to: • Provide accurate and complete contact and project information • Upload plan files that you own or have authorization to share • Pay the applicable service fee at the time of order via our secure payment processor (Stripe) All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Pricing is subject to change, but any price changes will not affect orders already placed. Payment is processed at the time of checkout. You will receive an order confirmation email upon successful payment.

Stated turnaround windows begin when a designer is assigned to your review; for Complete Glance, the window begins when your discovery call is completed (or when you tell us to skip it): • Essential Glance: 72-hour turnaround • Expert Glance: 72-hour turnaround • Complete Glance: 48-hour priority turnaround Turnaround excludes any period we're waiting on information or files we've asked you for; we'll always tell you when that's the case, and your due date moves accordingly. We stand behind our stated turnaround times. If we fail to deliver your completed review within the stated turnaround window for your selected tier, you are entitled to a full refund, as described in our Refund Policy. We will communicate proactively about any delays.

You retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in the plan files you upload. By submitting files, you grant Design Glance a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, store, and process your files solely for the purpose of performing the review service. The review output, including redline markups, written recommendations, and PDF reports, is the intellectual property of Design Glance. Upon payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the review output for your personal renovation project. You may share review outputs with your contractor, designer, or store representative. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly publish our review materials.

Design Glance services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding: • The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of our design recommendations for your specific project • Compliance with local building codes, zoning requirements, or permit regulations in your jurisdiction • The outcome of any renovation project that incorporates our recommendations Our reviews are professional design opinions based on the information provided. They do not constitute engineering assessments, code certifications, or guarantees of construction outcomes. All suggestions should be reviewed and discussed with your licensed contractor prior to ordering cabinets or making changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Design Glance's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Design Glance be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Design Glance, its founders, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: • Your use of our services • Your violation of these Terms • Any construction or renovation decisions you make based on our review • Any dispute between you and a third party (contractor, retailer, designer) related to our review output

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access to our website at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where: • You provide false or misleading information • You use our services for unauthorized commercial purposes • You engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our team • You violate any provision of these Terms If we cancel an order before the review is completed, you will receive a full refund.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Ulster County, New York. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or participation in a class action. Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for claims involving intellectual property or confidential information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
