Design Glance provides professional design review services for residential kitchen plans. Our reviews are performed by experienced designers and represent professional design opinions based on the information you provide.

Our reviews are advisory in nature. They are intended to identify potential design issues, suggest improvements, and flag areas that may warrant further professional evaluation. They are not engineering assessments, code certifications, or construction directives.

Design Glance reviews do not replace:

• Licensed contractor assessments and construction oversight
• Structural engineering evaluations
• Building code compliance certifications by local authorities
• Permit applications or inspections
• Licensed architect or interior designer services
• MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering

You should always consult with appropriately licensed professionals for structural, electrical, plumbing, and code compliance matters before proceeding with any renovation work.

While our reviews may reference general building code principles and industry standards (such as the International Residential Code), we do not certify compliance with any specific local building code, zoning ordinance, or municipal regulation.

Building codes vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change. It is your responsibility, and your contractor’s, to ensure that all renovation work complies with applicable local codes and obtains required permits and inspections.

The quality and accuracy of our review depends on the quality and completeness of the plan files and information you provide. We review what you submit; we cannot identify issues in areas not documented in your uploaded plans.

If the plan files you upload contain dimensional errors, missing information, or outdated specifications, our review may not catch all issues. We recommend providing the most complete and current version of your plans.

Design Glance does not guarantee any specific outcome from implementing our recommendations. We do not guarantee that:

• All design issues in your plan will be identified
• Implementing our suggestions will prevent all construction problems
• Your renovation project will be completed without issues
• Your plan will pass building inspection after incorporating our feedback

Renovation projects involve many variables beyond the scope of a plan review, including material quality, contractor workmanship, site conditions, and changes made during construction.

Design Glance is fully independent and has no financial relationship with Home Depot, Lowe’s, IKEA, or any cabinet, appliance, or building material manufacturer or retailer.

Our reviewers have no sales incentives, product commissions, or referral arrangements. Our only revenue comes from the review services you purchase directly from us. This independence is fundamental to our ability to provide unbiased professional guidance.

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for all final decisions regarding your renovation project
• You will review our recommendations with your contractor or licensed professional before acting on them
• You understand that our review is one input among many in the renovation planning process
• You will not rely solely on our review as the basis for construction decisions

Design Glance reviews and redlines plans based solely on the dimensions and measurements provided in the materials submitted by the client. We do not conduct on-site visits, take field measurements, or independently verify any dimensions, including, but not limited to, ceiling heights, floor dimensions, room layouts, or structural clearances.

Our review and any redline edits are based entirely on the accuracy of the plans as submitted. Design Glance assumes no responsibility for errors, conflicts, or issues arising from submitted dimensions that do not accurately reflect actual jobsite conditions. It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that all measurements and plans provided to Design Glance are true, current, and accurate before submission.
