Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 24, 2026
We want every part of Design Glance to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. If something on this site gets in your way, please tell us. We will fix it, and we will help you get what you needed in the meantime.
1. The Standard We Aim For
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are the most widely used reference for making web content accessible, and Level AA is the level most commonly cited by regulators and standards bodies.
We describe this as a target rather than a certification. Accessibility is not a one-time state a website reaches and keeps. It changes with every page we publish, so we treat it as ongoing work rather than a finished task.
2. How We Test
Every public page of this site is checked automatically against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rule set, using the open-source axe-core testing engine, in two configurations: a desktop browser and an emulated touch device. The touch pass exists because some requirements, such as the minimum size of a tappable target, can only be measured properly on a touchscreen.
These checks run as part of our automated test suite. They run before any change is merged, and a failure blocks the change rather than filing a note for later.
3. Known Limitations
We would rather say plainly what our testing does not cover than imply it covers everything:
- Automated testing catches only part of the picture. Tools like the one we use reliably find problems such as insufficient colour contrast, missing labels, and incorrect heading structure. They cannot judge whether alternative text is meaningful, whether a reading order makes sense, or whether an interaction is understandable.
- We have not yet completed a manual audit or testing with assistive technology by people who rely on it. We are evaluating an independent accessibility review.
- Documents we deliver to customers, the PDF review reports, are not covered by the testing described above. If you need a review delivered in a different format, contact us and we will arrange it.
- Third-party content. Some parts of the site rely on services we do not control, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
4. Tell Us About a Barrier
If you encounter something on this site that you cannot use, we want to hear about it. Email hello@designglance.com. It helps if you can tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you were using, but please do not let a missing detail stop you from writing.
We aim to respond within two business days. If a barrier prevents you from placing or managing an order, say so and we will complete it with you directly rather than asking you to wait for a fix.
