Rosalind Nashashibi (born 1973) is a London-based artist best known for her 16mm videos, paintings, and prints. Her films portray interior feelings of moments and events, frequently addressing the politics of community and extended family relationships, while fusing common observations with fantastical or mythological themes. Her paintings, like her films, alternate between impressions and more concrete depictions of objects or figures. The National Gallery of London named Nashashibi as artist in residence for 2020 in 2019. For a year, she worked closely with the gallery's collection, research, and teams.

She has investigated the ongoing conversation between historical and contemporary art as well as the collection's influence on her own painting style as the gallery's first artist in residence. Insightful talks between Nashashibi and her artistic associates Lucy Skaer and Elena Narbutait are included in the book.
