Phaidon book names the 100 best and most imaginative worldwide interior designers
By Design, our new book, highlights 100 individuals and studios at the vanguard of innovation and creativity, all chosen by an experienced expert jury.
The top interior designers working today have been chosen by an international jury. Writers, editors, curators, and designers were among the 90 nominators, who were asked to suggest individuals and studios who are making extraordinary, inventive, and breakthrough contributions to the area.
The nominees include: Felix Burrichter, founder of PIN-UP magazine; Francisco Costa, creative director and designer; Ronnie Fieg, CEO and founder of Kith; Laila Gohar, food artist; Niki Haas, artist; and Gert Jonkers and Jop van Bennekom, founders of Fantastic Man. 
In order to be nominated, designers must be currently working and have created work since 2015. Designers might work in any style, be based anywhere in the world, and be at any level in their career.
"These designers are at the forefront of invention and originality, creating the rooms that will define style for years to come," said William Norwich, executive editor of Phaidon Press.
