aesthetics, and practices around the categorization and gathering of artifacts, animals, photos, and stories for museums.

At the 2022 Venice Biennale, Cherri most recently received the Silver Lion prize.

This book, the first study of Cherri's work in English, will provide an overview of the artist's archaeological approach to object heritage by analyzing their ties to history, society, and nature. It will introduce Cherri to a wide audience and capture his journey from the start of his residency to the completion and display of his final work at the National Gallery in the autumn of 2021, followed by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in the spring of 2022.
