This is the first book on Malaysian-born, UK-based artist Phillip Lai (born 1969). It traces the artist's sculptural evolution over the last two decades. The publication covers numerous of the artist's shows in London, Wakefield, Turin, Berlin, and Hong Kong, from a basement soy sauce factory to the Hepworth Prize for Sculpture.
